Tragic accident, the worst day of my life. Safe with his Nan in heaven now. Playing on his own in our garden, he was found face down in the pond. The post mortem found a significant head injury and the finding was he somehow fell, banged his head, slipped unconscious into the pond and drowned. He was a fit, active, healthy 4 foot 8 inch 11 year old and the pond was 5 foot long, 2 foot 6 inches wide and 12 inches deep.
